What's for dinner?

The Organised Housewife

In an attempt to get my family a bit more organised and
to save money in our grocery shopping,
I am going to attempt to "Meal Plan" in advance!
Because we have a variety of people making dinner in our house
(basically whoever is looking after the kids that day)
I am hoping it will help keep everyone on the same page and maybe even end
the daily 4pm question....
What are we having for dinner!!!

So here is the plan.....

Monday –
Lemon Crumbed Chicken Drumsticks with Roast Potatoes and Pumpkin and Steamed Greens.
(Left over Chicken for Mummy and Master O's day at Kindy on Tuesday!)

Tuesday -
Steak Involtini
Sizzle steak available at Woolworths rolled with Bocconcini and Sundried Tomato inside!
served with Double Potato Bake (Potato and Sweet Potato) and Salad
Cooked on the Lakeside BBQ because we will all be home!

Wednesday –
Roast Turkey (Frozen Thigh Roast) with Roast Pumpkin and Vegie Mash
(Left Over Pumpkin and Turkey for Wraps for Mummy’s Lunch)
Vegie mash is the easiest way to get Master O to eat his vegies.....
we use Pumpkin, Sweet Potato, Potato, Carrot, Broccoli and Cauliflower.
This is Little Miss A's current favourite!

Thursday –
Pumpkin and Tuna Pasta
This sounds like a strange combo but you have to try it...it is delicious!
Grated Pumpkin cooked with tinned tuna and served with spaghetti!
Quick, easy and cheap!
Left Overs for Mummy’s Lunch and Kids Lunches on Friday.
We are not eating meat on Friday's during Lent and are always looking for new meat free recipes!

Friday –
Fish and Chips and Salad (Homemade)

Saturday –
Chicken Burrito’s
Easy end to our busy Saturdays!

Sunday –
Filled Meatballs and Penne Pasta
Pork Mince meatballs filled with mozarella, salami and sundried tomatoes
I make two sizes, large and mini with the one mix.
Master O loves cutting them open to find the treasure!
Little Miss A loves to eat the mini ones with her fingers!
I  will pop a few mini ones into Master O's lunchbox for Monday!

Stay tuned for the results....
